MSG and Salad Dressings

Whether your starting a new lifestyle or keeping up with the current one i.e. keeping healthy, eating right, and exercising. Detoxing can keep your taste buds clean. What do I mean by clean? Well, some people do not know the difference between MSG seasoning, loads of artificial flavoring and colors in their food. In order to detect these chemicals in your food, you must have keen taste buds. Detoxing is the way to build super receptors on your tongue that will help you determine the quality and purity of your food. Just give it a try, its a very cool trick and you have nothing to lose.

1. How to get started

Eliminate eating all fast foods. Fast foods are the #1 carriers of MSG, artificial flavor and color. Check your cupboard or pantry for any products that have artificial flavoring, colors, and MSG. When you find them, throw them out. You can donate food but if I wouldn't personally eat these products I would not give them to anyone.

Yes, MSG goes by many different names. Even a can of beans from the store that has an ingredient specifying "contains flavors or natural chicken flavors" can and will be a mixture of artificial flavorings.

2. Getting acquainted with natural substances again

One glass of clay a day eats the acid away! Now that you have eliminated your toxic foods and stopped eating fast-food. It's time to retrain your taste buds. The fastest way I experienced to retrain my taste buds involved me drinking clay.

You can buy benzonite clay or healing clay online, please find a reputable source. Follow the directions for how to drink clay. I use 1 teaspoon - 1 tablespoon of clay for 12-14 ounces of water. Use a glass cup, steer away from plastic if you can. Stir the clay in the water with a wood spoon. If you do not have a wood spoon, a popsicle or chop stick may be used. Please do not use any metal objects to stir your clay. Clay absorbs impurities and metal deposits, it binds with these and delivers them out of the body. Thereafter, when I have finished drinking the water clay remains at the bottom of my glass. I will add more water to the glass, stir, and drink again.

From research, I learned to drink plenty of water throughout the day when drinking clay. Some instructions are given telling one to stir the clay and let it sit for a while. You may let your clay sit, or you can drink a second glass which I think is a greater or equal option. Make it a habit to drink one glass twice daily. My habit includes drinking clay in the morning, mid-day, and evening.

After 2 weeks of this regimen, if your foods are not pure your taste buds will let you know. While your tuning your taste buds you'll be doing wonderful things for your body including:

  • Regulating bowel movement
  • Detoxification
  • Take away abdominal bloating
  • Aids in reducing acid in the body (acidosis, acidification)
  • Reducing bad breath complaints (Halitosis)
  • Providing yourself with minerals and trace elements such as: aluminum, calcium, chromium, copper, iron, germanium, magnesium, manganese, phosphor, potassium, sulfur, selenium, silica, silicon and zinc.

3. Juicing

"Vegetables! Fruits! and.. Spices Oh My!"

Take your vegetables and fruits and make them liquid. Why would you want to do that? Drinking your meals that are 100% vegetables and fruits are so very healthy and healing for your body! This is another way to train your taste buds to become super receptors.

The Food Pyramid suggests 2-4 servings in the Fruit Group and 3-5 Servings in the Vegetable Group. Instead of struggling just to fit one apple a day in your mealtime. When you juice, you can fit in 5 apples.

What is a Masticating Juicer?
It is an advanced juicer that grinds the vegetables and fruits while your juicing them. It it said a masticating juicer yields more enzymes, vitamins, and trace minerals out of the vegetables and fruits. Masticating juices are capable of juicing any fruit or vegetable including wheatgrass. Champion juices do not juice greens and wheatgrass very well.

Centrifugal Juicer.
Centrifugal juicers are said to be perfect for home and office use. A great juicer for fruits and vegetables but do not extract juice well from stalky greens, leafy vegetables, wheatgrass, lettuce, parsley, and so further.After researching, some concerns are shared about the centrifugal juicer aerating the juice therefore putting a great deal of oxygen into the finished juice. If the juice is stored, it will most likely lose its nutritional value over a shorter period of time. If you are juicing for the moment this makes a fine juicer.

What next? Start juicing your meals, it's that simple. If you are ready to replace all your meals, put yourself on a 2 week juice challenge. Juice your meals for 2 weeks straight. Drink at least 6-7 glasses of juice each day. If you are not ready to replace all of your meals, start by replacing your breakfast with a glass of fresh juices. after 2 weeks of juicing, your taste buds will frown upon the slightest impure food.

Is that it?

Yes, that is the way to detox your taste buds. After performing your detox, you'll notice our food world revolves around artificial flavors, MSG, and false coloring. At first, you'll be disappointed further pondering how in the heck did we get this far? But shortly after you'll be happy to have shed your old skin further developing into a pure form of happiness.

Once you rid all unnecessary ingredients from your body, the pains will go away, the aches will fade, and the cloud of rain will drift away. Smiles will appear and you'll find yourself more happy and satisfied than you have ever been in your entire life.

If you're in need to go out for lunch or dinner, you'll notice the thickener in the soup and the artificial flavor in the salad dressing. If you order fries, you'll notice the old and heavy oil along with the high fructose corn syrup in ketchup. But you'll be safe with a empty salad with a side of vinegar and olive oil. Or you can play it safe with a sandwich and a glass of apple juice.
