Difference between Salts
The difference between Table Salt, Cooking salt, and Rock Salt.

We just started carrying Rock Salt for our customers who are interested and also for conscious eaters like myself and Thomas. We have been using rock salt for a couples years now. If you are pondering what the taste is, well, it taste like salt.

There is no difference in taste other than if your salt is marinated. Like our teas, the salt is coming from our farmer who is located in the same Flachgau region in Austria. GMO is not allowed in Austria as this is a very important factor.

The herbs used in our Herb Salt are organic and grown by the moon.

Social Icons

Many of us take part in social networking on the Internet as there is no time to visit friends or take a trip with our family. We simply like to view what activities others are partaking in and wish we could be there to join them. Sadly, we are so busy working trying to stay above the water, that we have no time for normal activities. Does texting, instant messaging, email writing and so forth count as real socializing? Some may agree or disagree.

The control of a World.

The Control of a World Banner

The food industry as we know it is very twisted today. Every major company has subsidiaries and by creating this monopoly results one company owning many of the worlds consumer product brands. For example, Unilever is a British company, and although we know them as the maker of Dove soap, they are also the makers of; Lipton (tea), Vaseline, PG Tips(tea), Suave, and Finesse. I've only began to touch the tip of the ice berg.

Most likely you did not escape the horrifying way our world works nowadays. Politically, economically and the ever growing cleft between the rich and the middle class. Politics is thriving on smear campaigns and childish behaviors, majority of followers are, well, just followers. Followers believe what news corporations, politicians, and the common interest groups tell them.

princeton high fructose corn syrup study

Princeton researchers find that high-fructose corn syrup prompts considerably more weight gain

When male rats were given water sweetened with high-fructose corn syrup in addition to a standard diet of rat chow, the animals gained much more weight than male rats that received water sweetened with table sugar, or sucrose, along with the standard diet.

The concentration of sugar in the sucrose solution was the same as is found in some commercial soft drinks, while the high-fructose corn syrup solution was half as concentrated as most sodas, including the orange soft drink shown here.

Read about this study and a study about sucrose can be addictive.

Soap vs. Dove - We lose?

Doves new ad campaign makes soap users uncertain of soap scum.

First of all, don't PANIC.

Second, soap scum is formed by mineral in tap water combined with soap. With hard water you have more soap scum than with soft water. If water is "hard" it mainly contains chlorides, sulphates, phosphates and bicarbonates.

Sponge & Loofahs

When picking your yellow, grass or wool sponges, you will have a choice of cuts or forms. Forms are a complete, un-cut sponge.

This means that the sponge will have a flat bottom where it was cut from the ocean floor, but otherwise will be perfectly round. Cuts are when a larger sponge has been cut into pieces. Usually cuts will have two flat sides but a round top.

For everyday use, cuts are fine. If you wish to proudly display your sponge as decoration, we recommend a form.
